GIOVANNI 19:24

Or la tonica era senza cucitura, tessuta tutta al di lungo fin da capo; laonde dissero gli uni agli altri: Non la stracciamo, ma tiriamone le sorti, a cui ella ha da essere, acciocchè si adempiesse la scrittura, che dice: Hanno spartiti fra loro i miei panni, ed hanno tratta la sorte sopra la mia vesta. I soldati adunque fecero queste cose.

They said therefore among themselves, Let us not rend it, but cast lots for it, whose it shall be: that the scripture might be fulfilled, which saith, They parted my raiment among them, and for my vesture they did cast lots. These things therefore the soldiers did.
