యోహాను రాసిన సువార్త 18:37

అప్పుడు పిలాతు, “అయితే నువ్వు రాజువా??” అని యేసుతో అన్నాడు. యేసు, “నేను రాజునని నువ్వు అంటున్నావు. సత్యం గురించి సాక్ష్యం చెప్పడానికి నేను జన్మించాను. అందుకే నేను ఈ లోకంలోకి వచ్చాను. సత్యానికి సంబంధించిన వారందరూ నా మాట వింటారు” అని జవాబిచ్చాడు.

Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.
