യോഹന്നാൻ 18:37

പീലാത്തൊസ് അവനോടു: എന്നാൽ നീ രാജാവു തന്നേയല്ലോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞതിന്നു യേശു: നീ പറഞ്ഞതുപോലെ ഞാൻ രാജാവു തന്നേ; സത്യത്തിന്നു സാക്ഷിനില്ക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ ജനിച്ചു അതിന്നായി ലോകത്തിൽ വന്നുമിരിക്കുന്നു; സത്യതല്പരനായവൻ എല്ലാം എന്റെ വാക്കു കേൾക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.
