เราเป็นเถาองุ่น ท่านทั้งหลายเป็​นก​ิ่ง ​ผู้​​ที่​​เข​้าสนิ​ทอย​ู่ในเราและเราเข้าสนิ​ทอย​ู่ในเขา ​ผู้​นั้นจะเกิดผลมาก เพราะถ้าแยกจากเราแล้​วท​่านจะทำสิ่งใดไม่​ได้​​เลย​

I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
