യോഹന്നാൻ 15:2

എന്നിൽ കായ്ക്കാത്ത കൊമ്പു ഒക്കെയും അവൻ നീക്കിക്കളയുന്നു; കായ്ക്കുന്നതു ഒക്കെയും അധികം ഫലം കായ്ക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ചെത്തി വെടിപ്പാക്കുന്നു.

Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
