సీమోను పేతురు ఆయనతో, “ప్రభూ, నువ్వెక్కడికి వెళ్తున్నావు?” అన్నాడు. యేసు జవాబిస్తూ, “నేను వెళ్ళే స్థలానికి ఇప్పుడు నువ్వు నా వెంట రాలేవు, కాని తరవాత వస్తావు” అన్నాడు.

¶ Simon Peter said unto him, Lord, whither goest thou? Jesus answered him, Whither I go, thou canst not follow me now; but thou shalt follow me afterwards.
