คนทั้งหลายจึงทูลพระองค์​ว่า​ “พวกเราได้ยินจากพระราชบัญญั​ติว​่า พระคริสต์จะอยู่​เป็นนิตย์​ ​เหตุ​ไฉนท่านจึงว่า ‘​บุ​ตรมนุษย์จะต้องถูกยกขึ้น’ ​บุ​ตรมนุษย์นั้นคือผู้ใดเล่า”

The people answered him, We have heard out of the law that Christ abideth for ever: and how sayest thou, The Son of man must be lifted up? who is this Son of man?
