యోహాను రాసిన సువార్త 12:40

“ఆయన వారి కళ్ళకు గుడ్డితనం కలగజేశాడు. ఆయన వారి హృదయాలను కఠినం చేశాడు. అలా చెయ్యకపోతే వారు తమ కళ్ళతో చూసి, హృదయాలతో గ్రహించి, నా వైపు తిరిగేవారు. అప్పుడు నేను వారిని బాగు చేసేవాణ్ణి.”

He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.
