ఆ జనసమూహం ఆయనతో, “క్రీస్తు ఎల్లకాలం ఉంటాడని ధర్మశాస్త్రంలో ఉందని విన్నాం. ‘మనుష్య కుమారుణ్ణి పైకెత్తడం జరగాలి’ అని నువ్వెలా చెబుతావు? ఈ మనుష్య కుమారుడు ఎవరు?” అన్నారు.

The people answered him, We have heard out of the law that Christ abideth for ever: and how sayest thou, The Son of man must be lifted up? who is this Son of man?
