மக்கள் அவரைப் பார்த்து: கிறிஸ்து என்றென்றைக்கும் இருக்கிறார் என்று வேதத்தில் சொல்லியதை நாங்கள் கேட்டிருக்கிறோம், அப்படியிருக்க மனிதகுமாரன் உயர்த்தப்படவேண்டியது என்று எப்படிச் சொல்லுகிறீர்; இந்த மனிதகுமாரன் யார் என்றார்கள்.

The people answered him, We have heard out of the law that Christ abideth for ever: and how sayest thou, The Son of man must be lifted up? who is this Son of man?
