Naquela ocasião, os discípulos de Jesus não entenderam o que isso significava. Apenas tempos mais tarde, quando ele foi glorificado , eles entenderam que o que tinha acontecido havia sido escrito antes e que dizia respeito a ele.

These things understood not his disciples at the first: but when Jesus was glorified, then remembered they that these things were written of him, and that they had done these things unto him.
