യോഹന്നാൻ 12:25

തന്റെ ജീവനെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നവൻ അതിനെ കളയും; ഇഹലോകത്തിൽ തന്റെ ജീവനെ പകെക്കുന്നവൻ അതിനെ നിത്യജീവന്നായി സൂക്ഷിക്കും.

He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.
