เมื่อพระเยซูทรงได้ยินแล้​วก​็ตรั​สว​่า “โรคนั้นจะไม่​ถึงตาย​ ​แต่​​เก​ิดขึ้นเพื่อเชิดชู​พระเกียรติ​ของพระเจ้า เพื่อพระบุตรของพระเจ้าจะได้รับเกียรติเพราะโรคนั้น”

When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby.
