GEREMIA 9:21

Perciocchè la morte è salita per le nostre finestre, è entrata ne' nostri palazzi, per isterminare i piccoli fanciulli d'in su le strade, ed i giovani d'in su le piazze.

For death is come up into our windows, and is entered into our palaces, to cut off the children from without, and the young men from the streets.
