यिर्मयाह 9:3

अपनी-अपनी जीभ को वे धनुष के समान झूठ बोलने के लिये तैयार करते हैं, और देश में बलवन्त तो हो गए, परन्तु सच्चाई के लिये नहीं; वे बुराई पर बुराई बढ़ाते जाते हैं, और वे मुझ को जानते ही नहीं, यहोवा की यही वाणी है।

And they bend their tongues like their bow for lies: but they are not valiant for the truth upon the earth; for they proceed from evil to evil, and they know not me, saith the LORD.
