ถึงกระนั้นเขาก็ยังไม่ฟังเรา หรือเงี่ยหู​ฟัง​ ​แต่​​ได้​กระทำให้คอของตนแข็ง เขาได้กระทำชั่วร้ายยิ่งกว่าบรรพบุรุษทั้งหลายของเขาเสี​ยอ​ีก

Yet they hearkened not unto me, nor inclined their ear, but hardened their neck: they did worse than their fathers.
