ഭൂമിയേ, കേൾക്ക; ഈ ജനം എന്റെ വചനങ്ങളെ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കാതെ എന്റെ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തെ നിരസിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞതുകൊണ്ടു, ഞാൻ അവരുടെ വിചാരങ്ങളുടെ ഫലമായി അനർത്ഥം അവരുടെമേൽ വരുത്തും.

Hear, O earth: behold, I will bring evil upon this people, even the fruit of their thoughts, because they have not hearkened unto my words, nor to my law, but rejected it.
