యెహోవా, యథార్థత చూడాలని కదా నీ కోరిక? నువ్వు వారిని కొట్టావు కానీ వారు లెక్క చేయలేదు. వారిని క్షీణింప జేశావు గానీ వారు శిక్షను అంగీకరించలేదు. రాతికంటే తమ ముఖాలు కఠినం చేసుకుని నీ వైపు తిరగడానికి ఒప్పుకోలేదు.

O LORD, are not thine eyes upon the truth? thou hast stricken them, but they have not grieved; thou hast consumed them, but they have refused to receive correction: they have made their faces harder than a rock; they have refused to return.
