യിരെമ്യാവു 5:6

അതുകൊണ്ടു കാട്ടിൽനിന്നു ഒരു സിംഹം വന്നു അവരെ കൊല്ലും; മരുപ്രദേശത്തിലെ ചെന്നായ് അവരെ പിടിച്ചുകൊണ്ടുപോകും; പുള്ളിപ്പുലി അവരുടെ പട്ടണങ്ങൾക്കെതിരെ പതിയിരിക്കും; അവയിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടുവരുന്ന എല്ലാവരെയും പറിച്ചു കീറിക്കളയും; അവരുടെ അതിക്രമങ്ങൾ വളരെയല്ലോ? അവരുടെ പിൻമാറ്റങ്ങളും പെരുകിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

Wherefore a lion out of the forest shall slay them, and a wolf of the evenings shall spoil them, a leopard shall watch over their cities: every one that goeth out thence shall be torn in pieces: because their transgressions are many, and their backslidings are increased.
