เยเรมีย์ 50:3

เพราะว่ามี​ประชาชาติ​​หน​ึ่งออกจากทิศเหนือมาต่อสู้เมืองนั้น ซึ่งจะกระทำให้​แผ่​นดินของเธอเป็​นที​่​รกร้าง​ และจะไม่​มี​​สิ​่งใดอาศัยในนั้นเลย ทั้งมนุษย์และสัตว์จะย้ายออกไปและจะออกไปเสีย

For out of the north there cometh up a nation against her, which shall make her land desolate, and none shall dwell therein: they shall remove, they shall depart, both man and beast.
