“จงประกาศท่ามกลางบรรดาประชาชาติและป่าวร้อง จงตั้งธงขึ้นและป่าวร้อง อย่าปิดบังไว้​เลย​ และว่า ‘บาบิโลนถูกยึดแล้ว พระเบลก็​ได้​​อาย​ พระเมโรดัคก็​ถู​กทุบแหลกเป็นชิ้นๆ ​รู​ปเคารพทั้งหลายของเมืองนั้นถูกกระทำให้​ได้​​อาย​ และรูปปั้นทั้งหลายก็​ถู​กทุบแหลกเป็นชิ้นๆ’

Declare ye among the nations, and publish, and set up a standard; publish, and conceal not: say, Babylon is taken, Bel is confounded, Merodach is broken in pieces; her idols are confounded, her images are broken in pieces.
