యిర్మీయా 50:6

నా ప్రజలు దారి తప్పిన గొర్రెలు. వారి కాపరులు వారిని పర్వతాల పైకి తీసుకు వెళ్లి దారి మళ్ళించారు. ఒక కొండ నుండి మరో కొండకు వాళ్ళని తిప్పారు. వాళ్ళు వెళ్ళారు. చివరకు తాము నివసించిన చోటు మర్చిపోయారు.

My people hath been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go astray, they have turned them away on the mountains: they have gone from mountain to hill, they have forgotten their restingplace.
