எரேமியா 50:2

பாபிலோன் பிடிபட்டது; பேல் வெட்கப்பட்டது; மெரொதாக் நொறுங்குண்டது; அதினுடைய சிலைகள் வெட்கமடைந்தது; அதினுடைய சிலைகள் நொறுங்கிப்போயின என்று மக்களுக்குள்ளே அறிவித்துப் பிரபலப்படுத்துங்கள்; இதை மறைக்காமல் கொடியேற்றி விளம்பரம்செய்யுங்கள்.

Declare ye among the nations, and publish, and set up a standard; publish, and conceal not: say, Babylon is taken, Bel is confounded, Merodach is broken in pieces; her idols are confounded, her images are broken in pieces.
