യിസ്രായേൽ ചിന്നിപ്പോയ ആട്ടിൻ കൂട്ടം ആകുന്നു; സിംഹങ്ങൾ അതിനെ ഓടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു; ആദ്യം അശ്ശൂർരാജാവു അതിനെ തിന്നു; ഒടുക്കം ഇപ്പോൾ ബാബേൽരാജാവായ നെബൂഖദ്നേസർ അതിന്റെ അസ്ഥികളെ ഒടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.

¶ Israel is a scattered sheep; the lions have driven him away: first the king of Assyria hath devoured him; and last this Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon hath broken his bones.
