യിരെമ്യാവു 50:13

യഹോവയുടെ ക്രോധം ഹേതുവായി അതു നിവാസികൾ ഇല്ലാതെ അശേഷം ശൂന്യമായിത്തീരും; ബാബേലിന്നരികത്തു കൂടി കടന്നുപോകുന്ന ഏവരും സ്തംഭിച്ചു അതിന്റെ സകലബാധകളുംനിമിത്തം ചൂളുകുത്തും.

Because of the wrath of the LORD it shall not be inhabited, but it shall be wholly desolate: every one that goeth by Babylon shall be astonished, and hiss at all her plagues.
