​เจ้​าผู้​ที่​​ถู​กทิ้งร้างเอ๋ย ​ที่​​เจ้​าแต่งตัวสีแดงนั้นเจ้าทำอะไรกัน และที่​เจ้​าประดับตัวด้วยอาภรณ์​ทองคำ​ ​ที่​​เจ้​าขยายดวงตาให้กว้างด้วยแต้มสี ​เออ​ ​เจ้​าแต่งตัวให้งามเสียเปล่า คนรักของเจ้าจะดูหมิ่นเจ้า เขาทั้งหลายจะแสวงหาชีวิตของเจ้า

And when thou art spoiled, what wilt thou do? Though thou clothest thyself with crimson, though thou deckest thee with ornaments of gold, though thou rentest thy face with painting, in vain shalt thou make thyself fair; thy lovers will despise thee, they will seek thy life.
