యెహోవా చెప్పేదేమంటే, ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజలారా, మీరు తిరిగి రాదలిస్తే నా దగ్గరకే రావాలి. మీరు మీ హేయమైన విగ్రహాలను తీసివేసి నా సన్నిధి నుండి ఇటూ అటూ తప్పిపోకుండా ఉంటే,

If thou wilt return, O Israel, saith the LORD, return unto me: and if thou wilt put away thine abominations out of my sight, then shalt thou not remove.
