విశ్వాసం లేని కూతురా, నీ బలాన్ని గూర్చి నీకు అంత ఆహంకారమెందుకు? నీ బలం నీళ్ళ లాగా ప్రవహించి పోతుంది. నీ సంపదలపై నమ్మకం పెట్టుకున్నావు. ‘నాకు విరోధిగా ఎవరొస్తారు?’ అంటున్నావు.

Wherefore gloriest thou in the valleys, thy flowing valley, O backsliding daughter? that trusted in her treasures, saying, Who shall come unto me?
