தமஸ்குவைக்குறித்துச் சொல்வது: ஆமாத்தும் அர்பாத்தும் கலங்குகிறது; பொல்லாத செய்தியை அவர்கள் கேட்டதினால் கரைந்துபோகிறார்கள்; கடலோரங்களில் வருத்தமுண்டு; அதற்கு அமைதலில்லை.

¶ Concerning Damascus. Hamath is confounded, and Arpad: for they have heard evil tidings: they are fainthearted; there is sorrow on the sea; it cannot be quiet.
