યર્મિયા 48:2

મોઆબનું ગૌરવ હવે રહ્યું નથી, હેશ્બોનમાં મોઆબના શત્રુઓએ એના પતનની યોજના ઘડી છે. તેઓ કહે છે ‘ચાલો, આપણે તેને દેશ તરીકે ભૂંસી નાખીએ. માદમેન નગરને પણ ચૂપ કરવામાં આવશે; શત્રુઓની તલવાર તારો પીછો કરશે.’

There shall be no more praise of Moab: in Heshbon they have devised evil against it; come, and let us cut it off from being a nation. Also thou shalt be cut down, O Madmen; the sword shall pursue thee.
