यिर्मयाह 46:21

उसके जो सिपाही किराये पर आए हैं वह पाले-पोसे हुए बछड़ों के समान हैं; उन्होंने मुँह मोड़ा, और एक संग भाग गए, वे खड़े नहीं रहे; क्योंकि उनकी विपत्ति का दिन और दण्ड पाने का समय आ गया46:21 विपत्ति का दिन... आ गया: इसका वास्तविक अर्थ है कि उन्होंने साथ छोड़ दिया है, वे एक साथ भाग खड़े हुए, वे साथ खड़े नहीं रहे क्योंकि उनके विनाश का दिन आ गया है, यहोवा के दण्ड देने का दिन आ गया है।।
