Jeremia 44:17

utan vi kommer att göra allt som vår mun har lovat, att tända rökelse åt himlens drottning och utgjuta dryckesoffer åt henne, så som vi och våra fäder, våra kungar och furstar gjorde i Juda städer och på Jerusalems gator. Då hade vi tillräckligt med bröd och det gick bra för oss, och vi såg inte till någon olycka.

But we will certainly do whatsoever thing goeth forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our princes, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem: for then had we plenty of victuals, and were well, and saw no evil.
