યર્મિયા 44:15

આ સાંભળીને જેઓ જાણતા હતા કે તેમની પત્નીઓ બીજા દેવોને બલિ ચઢાવે છે તે બધાએ અને ત્યાં ઊભેલી બધી સ્ત્રીઓ જેઓ મોટા સમૂહમાં હતી તેઓ તેમ જ મિસર દેશના પાથ્રોસમાં વસતા બધા માણસોએ યર્મિયાને ઉત્તર આપ્યો,

¶ Then all the men which knew that their wives had burned incense unto other gods, and all the women that stood by, a great multitude, even all the people that dwelt in the land of Egypt, in Pathros, answered Jeremiah, saying,
