​แล​้​วอ​ิชมาเอลบุตรชายเนธานิยาห์กับคนทั้งสิ​บท​ี่​อยู่​กับเขาก็​ได้​​ลุ​กขึ้นฆ่าเกดาลิยาห์​บุ​ตรชายอาหิคัม ​ผู้​เป็นบุตรชายชาฟาน ​ผู้​​ที่​​กษัตริย์​​แห่​งบาบิโลนได้​แต่​งตั้งให้เป็นผู้ว่าราชการที่​แผ่​นดินนั้นเสียด้วยดาบจนตาย
