En Ismael, de zoon van Nethanja, maakte zich op, mitsgaders de tien mannen, die met hem waren, en zij sloegen Gedalia, den zoon van Ahikam, den zoon van Safan, met het zwaard; alzo doodde hij hem, dien de koning van Babel over het land gesteld had.
