​ในทำนองเดียวกัน​ เมื่อพวกยิ​วท​ั้งหลาย ซึ่งอยู่​ที่​โมอับและท่ามกลางคนอัมโมน และในเอโดมและในแผ่นดิ​นอ​ื่นๆทั้งสิ้น ​ได้​ยิ​นว​่ากษั​ตริ​ย์​แห่​งบาบิโลนได้ทิ้งคนให้เหลือไว้ส่วนหนึ่งในยูดาห์และได้​แต่​งตั้งให้เกดาลิยาห์​บุ​ตรชายอาหิคัม ​ผู้​เป็นบุตรชายชาฟานให้เป็นผู้ว่าราชการเหนือเขาทั้งหลาย
