เยเรมีย์ 38:9

“ข้าแต่​กษัตริย์​​ผู้​เป็นเจ้านายของข้าพระองค์ คนเหล่านี้​ได้​กระทำความชั่วร้ายในบรรดาการที่เขาได้กระทำต่อเยเรมีย์​ผู้​​พยากรณ์​ โดยที่​ได้​ทิ้งท่านลงไปในคุกใต้​ดิน​ ท่านคงหิวตายที่​นั่น​ เพราะในกรุงนี้​ไม่มี​ขนมปังเหลืออยู่​เลย​”

My lord the king, these men have done evil in all that they have done to Jeremiah the prophet, whom they have cast into the dungeon; and he is like to die for hunger in the place where he is: for there is no more bread in the city.
