యిర్మీయా 38:6

వాళ్ళు యిర్మీయాను పట్టుకుని చెరసాల ప్రాంగణంలో ఉన్న రాజకుమారుడు మల్కీయా గోతిలోకి దింపారు. అందులోకి యిర్మీయాను తాళ్ళతో దింపినప్పుడు ఆ గోతిలో నీళ్లు లేవు, బురద మాత్రమే ఉంది. ఆ బురదలో యిర్మీయా కూరుకుపోయాడు.

Then took they Jeremiah, and cast him into the dungeon of Malchiah the son of Hammelech, that was in the court of the prison: and they let down Jeremiah with cords. And in the dungeon there was no water, but mire: so Jeremiah sunk in the mire.
