അവർ യിരെമ്യാവെ കുഴിയിൽ ഇട്ടുകളഞ്ഞു എന്നു രാജഗൃഹത്തിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന കൂശ്യനായ ഏബെദ്‒മേലെക്ക് എന്ന ഷണ്ഡൻ കേട്ടു; അന്നു രാജാവു ബെന്യാമീൻവാതില്ക്കൽ ഇരിക്കയായിരുന്നു.
