Ngunit sinabi ni Jeremias, “Hindi iyan totoo. Hindi ako tumatakas upang kumampi sa mga Caldeo.” Ngunit hindi nakinig si Irijas sa kaniya. Kinuha niya si Jeremias at dinala siya sa mga opisyal.
