Bunun üzerine bütün beyler, Şelemya oğlu Kuşi oğlu Netanya oğlu Yehudi'yi Baruk'a gönderip, “Halkın kulağına okuduğun tomarı eline alıp gel” dediler. Bunun üzerine Neriya oğlu Baruk tomarı eline alıp yanlarına geldi.
