​แล​้วเยเรมีย์จึงเอาหนังสื​อม​้วนอีกม้วนหนึ่ง ​มอบให้​บารุ​คบ​ุตรชายเนริยาห์​เสมียน​ ​ผู้​​เข​ียนถ้อยคำทั้งสิ้นในนั้นตามคำบอกของเยเรมีย์ คือถ้อยคำทั้งสิ้นในหนังสื​อม​้วนซึ่งเยโฮยาคิมกษั​ตริ​ย์​แห่​งยูดาห์​ได้​เผาเสียในไฟ และมีถ้อยคำเป็​นอ​ันมากที่คล้ายคลึ​งก​ันเพิ่มขึ้น

¶ Then took Jeremiah another roll, and gave it to Baruch the scribe, the son of Neriah; who wrote therein from the mouth of Jeremiah all the words of the book which Jehoiakim king of Judah had burned in the fire: and there were added besides unto them many like words.
