எரேமியா 35:14

திராட்சைரசம் குடிக்காமல், ரேகாபின் மகனாகிய யோனதாப் தன் மகன்களுக்குக் கட்டளையிட்ட வார்த்தைகள் கைக்கொள்ளப்பட்டுவருகிறது; அவர்கள் இந்நாள்வரை அதைக் குடிக்காமல், தங்கள் தகப்பனுடைய கட்டளைக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிகிறார்கள்; ஆனாலும் நான் உங்களுக்கு ஏற்கனவே சொல்லிக்கொண்டேயிருந்தும், எனக்குக் கீழ்ப்படியாமற்போனீர்கள்.

The words of Jonadab the son of Rechab, that he commanded his sons not to drink wine, are performed; for unto this day they drink none, but obey their father’s commandment: notwithstanding I have spoken unto you, rising early and speaking; but ye hearkened not unto me.
