Or è avvenuto che quando Nebucadnesar, re di Babilonia, è salito contro al paese, noi abbiamo detto: Venite, ed entriamo in Gerusalemme, per iscampar d'innanzi all'esercito dei Caldei, e dinanzi all'esercito di Siria; e così siamo dimorati in Gerusalemme.

But it came to pass, when Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon came up into the land, that we said, Come, and let us go to Jerusalem for fear of the army of the Chaldeans, and for fear of the army of the Syrians: so we dwell at Jerusalem.
