LA parola, che fu dal Signore indirizzata a Geremia, allora che Nebucadnesar, re di Babilonia, e tutto il suo esercito, tutti i regni della terra, sottoposti al suo imperio, e tutti i popoli, combattevano contro a Gerusalemme, e contro a tutte le sue città, dicendo:
