यहूदा के राजा सिदकिय्याह के राज्य के दसवें वर्ष में जो नबूकदनेस्सर के राज्य का अठारहवाँ वर्ष था, यहोवा की ओर से यह वचन यिर्मयाह के पास पहुँचा।
