యిర్మీయా 31:9

వాళ్ళు ఏడుస్తూ వస్తారు. వాళ్ళు తమ విన్నపాలు చెప్తూ ఉండగా నేను వాళ్ళను నడిపిస్తాను. తిన్ననైన రహదారిలో, సెలయేళ్ల దగ్గరికి వాళ్ళను ప్రయాణం చేయిస్తాను. ఆ మార్గంలో వాళ్ళు తొట్రిల్లరు. ఎందుకంటే ఇశ్రాయేలుకు నేను తండ్రిగా ఉంటాను. ఎఫ్రాయిము నా జ్యేష్ఠసంతానంగా ఉంటాడు.”

They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn.
