യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: രാമയിൽ ഒരു ശബ്ദം കേൾക്കുന്നു! വിലാപവും കഠിനമായുള്ള കരച്ചലും തന്നേ; റാഹേൽ തന്റെ മക്കളെക്കുറിച്ചു കരയുന്നു; അവർ ഇല്ലായ്കയാൽ അവരെച്ചൊല്ലി ആശ്വാസം കൈക്കൊൾവാൻ അവൾക്കു മനസ്സില്ല.

¶ Thus saith the LORD; A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping; Rahel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children, because they were not.
