ఇప్పటి తరం ప్రజలు యెహోవా చెప్పే మాట వినండి, నేను ఇశ్రాయేలుకు ఒక అరణ్యం లాగా అయ్యానా? గాఢాంధకారంతో నిండిన దేశంలా అయ్యానా? “మాకు స్వేచ్ఛ లభించింది, ఇంక నీ దగ్గరికి రాము” అని నా ప్రజలెందుకు చెబుతున్నారు?

¶ O generation, see ye the word of the LORD. Have I been a wilderness unto Israel? a land of darkness? wherefore say my people, We are lords; we will come no more unto thee?
