Jeremia 2:28

Waar zijn dan uw goden die gij u gemaakt hebt? Laten die opstaan, of zij u kunnen verlossen ten tijde van uw rampspoed; want even talrijk als uw steden zijn uw goden geworden, o Juda!

But where are thy gods that thou hast made thee? let them arise, if they can save thee in the time of thy trouble: for according to the number of thy cities are thy gods, O Judah.
